Wood Sabbath and Holiday Challah Trays

Elevate your challah cutting experience. 

A custom made, solid wood tray has Hebrew calligraphy laser engraved along the length saying "in honor of the Sabbath and holidays", with original artwork by my cousin just for Arcadia's customers.

The trays are made of either solid cherry (light color) or walnut sourced and produced by a mill in upstate NY just for Arcadia with a slight curved lip on the edge to catch crumbs without interfering with the knife. The engraving is close enough to the edge so that it will be visible even with challahs on the tray and will avoid most knife cuts. The wood is hand finished with food safe oils for years of use. Hand wash and dry immediately as needed. 

Please note that the lines in the trays are from the production process and are in the wood. The surface is completely smooth. This was not planned and not ideal; I’ve discounted these trays dramatically and will hopefully find someone else to make them perfectly jn the future. These are functional, not perfect, but really well priced!

Trays measure 14" by 10" by 3/4" high. Walnut tray weighs 1lb 11oz, cherry weighs 1lb 6oz.
