Niemeyer Brazilian National Congress Necklace
A functional, wearable work of architectural art.
Oscar Niemeyer, a world renowned Modernist architect, designed the Brazilian National Congress buildings, reproduced in sterling silver for this necklace. A focus on architecture and geometry is a hallmark of this jewelry maker's work, with mid-century modern architecture and engineering, along with a homage to her Brazilian heritage.
This pendant can be worn two ways; either horizontally or vertically. The sterling silver chain easily slips out of the pendant to arrange how you would like to wear it.
Pendant, available in brushed or oxidized sterling silver, measures 1.5" by .5" by 3/8" thick and comes with an 18" or 20" rhodium plated sterling silver box chain (to help prevent tarnishing). A longer length is recommended for wearing this pendant vertically.
